PROGRAM ACTIVITIES

Tech Career Awareness Workshop

We delivered an engaging session focused on product-driven roles in tech — including Product Design, Product Management, and more. The students were thrilled to learn that they could thrive in tech without needing to code, and their minds lit up with possibilities.

Beginner-Friendly Resources

Thanks to the support from the school’s ICT department, we shared curated, accessible learning resources with the girls to help them take their first steps confidently into tech.

Merchandise Giveaway

To boost morale and create a memorable experience, we surprised the girls with Path4Her merchandise, sparking excitement and pride in becoming part of a growing sisterhood.

STUDENT VOICES

The girls were buzzing with excitement, hope, and newfound ambition:

“I think I’d make a great product manager—I already have strong leadership skills!”

“Wow, I could design cool apps like TikTok?!”

“If someone like you, who went to this same school, can learn these skills and build amazing apps, I can do it too!”

PRINCIPAL REMARKS

Mr. Musa Nuhu Zuru, the school principal, shared his heartfelt appreciation:

“It’s amazing to see people reach out with so little. Thank you for showing these girls kindness. We rarely get these chances, and it gives us all hope for the future.”

CONCLUSION

Our first outreach wasn’t just an event. It was a spark. We planted seeds of belief, possibility, and purpose in young women who now see tech as a space where they can belong, lead, and thrive.

This marked the beginning of Path4Her’s mission to bridge the gender gap in tech. We are committed to reaching more communities, empowering more girls, and lighting up even more paths, one school at a time.

We are not just introducing them to tech.
We are introducing them to a future where every girl can dream bigger.
